New sports centre opens

The Andrew Brode Sports CentreThe Andrew Brode Sports Centre, a £5m development, has been officially opened by Anurag Singh (1994). Find out more about the new facility and view photos from the opening. 

US Ambassador presents blue plaque

Keith Phillips and Ambassador JohnsonThe US Ambassador has presented a blue plaque to King Edward's School to commemorate an all-female, African-American battalion that was stationed at the school during the Second World War. Read more about the 6888th Central Postal Directory Battalion. 

Exceptional Pupil Achievement Award

Shonak Joshi and Phil BalkhamShonak Joshi (2018) and Phil Balkham, Head of Design and Technology, have jointly received the Exceptional Pupil Achievement Award at the Design and Technology Association Excellence Awards 2019. Find out more about the award.

Back to School Day

History lessonFor the first time, we are offering Old Edwardians the opportunity to become pupils at KES again. At our Back to School Day on Friday 21 June, Old Edwardians will be assigned a form teacher, experience a selection of lessons, go for lunch in the dining hall, and take part in afternoon games. Find out more and book your place.
