Sports Dinner 2013
The Sports Dinner, which took place on Saturday, 14 September 2013, provided the opportunity for sportsmen from different generations to reunite with their former team-mates.
There was the chance to watch some sport on the afternoon with the U15A rugby team playing at home and a hockey match between the 1st XI and Old Edwardians on the new astro pitch. This was then followed by a drinks reception in the Ruddock Performing Arts Centre and a three course dinner in the Dining Hall. Mick Cleary (1974), Rugby Union correspondent for the Daily Telegraph, was the guest speaker at the dinner and gave a fascinating insight into his career in sports journalism.
