Nick, who is a chartered accountant by profession, previously held roles leading the T20 World Cup 2020 Local Organising Committee, and at the 2015 Cricket World Cup and London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. On his new appointment, Nick said: "I am honoured to have taken on the permanent role as Cricket Australia's CEO. Cricket is Australia's national sport and I'm committed to doing all I can to making a positive contribution to the game and the community."
