London Dinner 2013
The annual London Dinner for Old Edwardians living in and around London took place on Monday, 25 November 2013.
The guest speaker was Mark Wagh (1995). After leaving King Edward's School, Mark captained Oxford University. He famously captained the only Varsity Match where both captains were Old Edwardians - the other being Anurag Singh (1996). Mark made his debut for Warwickshire in 1998 and went on to become one of the county's most consistent batsmen, twice scoring 1,000 runs in a first-class season. He then joined Nottinghamshire in 2006 and was named Player of the Season in 2007. Mark retired in 2011, having scored over 12,000 first-class runs, to pursue a career in law.
The Chief Master, John Claughton (1975), and the School Captain, Tom Claughton, also spoke at this very successful event, evident via a selection of photographs taken during the evening.
