Exhibition updated to commemorate the Somme

King Edward's School and the Great War exhibitionThe second phase of the 'King Edward's School and the Great War' exhibition has officially opened this week to commemorate the centenary of the Battle of the Somme in which 52 Old Edwardians died. Andy Street receives President's Award

Andy StreetIn April 2016, Andy Street (1981) was presented with the President's Award by the Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce in recognition of his contribution to the region. Find out more about Andy's award.  

U16 hockey team are national runners-up

U16 hockey teamThe U16 hockey team took the runners-up spot in the England Hockey National Finals on Thursday, 21 April 2016. The team won their group stage in the National Finals held at the Olympic Park and went on to play Repton in the final, losing 3-0 to become national runners-up. 

AP100 Campaign Celebration

AP100 Campaign CelebrationAfter the matched funding from the King Edward's Foundation and the Old Edwardians' Association, and the Easter telephone campaign we are on track to achieve our £10 million target to fund 100 Assisted Places by the summer. We will be holding a special event to celebrate the anticipated completion of the AP100 Campaign on Saturday 11 June 2016 and are delighted that Lee Child (aka Jim Grant (1973)), bestselling author and AP100 Campaign Ambassador, will be our guest speaker.
