Edwardian Football Club

Founded in 1882, the Edwardian Football Club is the oldest club in England outside of the London area.

Originating as an Old Boys Rugby Club, throughout its history it has enjoyed a reputation second to none amongst Old Boys sides and in the Midlands. Based at the Old Edwardians Sports Club, the Club regularly fields three XVs and has provided many county players, several Blues, a number of England players and England Captain, Bernard Oughtred.

Each Boxing Day a team of Old Edwardians take on the Edwardian Rugby team at the Old Edwardians Sports Club. In 2014 the Old Eds team beat Edwardian FC by 14-7.
