Report

Twenty four Old Edwardians who left the school in 1961 arrived for their reunion lunch on a gloriously sunny day in March. They were greeted by Derek Benson (1953) and Stuart Birch (former teacher) for tea and coffee in the common room before heading over to the Dining Hall for lunch and a chance to catch up properly with old school friends. After lunch the group gathered outside the school to have a group photo taken, before heading down to the Chapel to see the school's special New Street Remembered Exhibition. Following a look around the exhibition they were taken on tours of the school with Stuart Birch and Derek Benson before ending up in the Chief Master's study for tea and cake with the Chief Master, John Claughton (1975). Then it was time to go and everyone headed back to their cars full of renewed friendships and memories.
